Project: Summit in Tech Valley

Client: Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce
The Chamber annually brings together CEO’s,
business leaders, scientists and politicians for
presentations and workshops related to the growing
high tech industry developing in the Tech Valley
region of New York State.
Product
The annual Summit in Tech Valley Conference
comprises many of the leading and upcoming high
tech firms in the US. GCG stages and produces

this
two day event, featuring presentations from world
famous personalities such as Tom Brokaw and Lou
Dobbs, Tech Valley CEO’s, guest speakers, and a
business plan contest. It receives intense media coverage and a visit from Governor George Pataki.
GCG provides environmental design, lighting, video,
audio, and stage management for the event. The
2003 Summit was produced as “theatre in the round.”
GCG has refined this intimate theatrical technique,
successfully adapting it to the meeting environment.
In 2004 the Summit was held at the New York State Convention center
in Albany.
