Project: Nation's Capital Distinguished Speakers Series
Client: Greater Washington Society of Association Executives (GWSAE)
GWSAE sponsors the Nation's Capital Distinguished Speakers Series in the Kennedy Center.
GCG is responsible for the technical production and stage management of the series. Over
the last 9 years, we have staged 35 of these events featuring world leaders and entertainers.
Due to the extremely high profile nature of this event and the media coverage it receives, it is
important that the production of each event is flawless.
In addition, GCG Video has produced numerous video productions for the series celebrating its'
participants. Most recently, GCG produced a short video on the career of baseball's iron man, Cal Ripken.
GCG produces the general sessions for GWSAE's prestigious "Springtime" event, the foremost exhibition
in the association/meetings industry. In 2002, GCG produced it's "theatre in the round" environment.
The 2003 Springtime was staged in the Grand Ballroom of the new Washington Convention Center.
