Client: New York State United Teachers (NYSUT) NYSUT is the AFL-CIO union that represents virtually all public school teachers in New York State and is the largest component of the American Federation of Teachers. GCG produces NYSUT's annual meetings (Representative Assemblies) which include complete design, technical production and stage management of the meeting.


The RA is run very much like the Democratic National Convention, with polling of delegates, debates and special guest speakers including political candidates, Vice President Gore, President Bill Clinton, and Sen. Hillary Clinton. GCG Video has produced over 30 video productions for NYSUT embracing numerous topics such as NYSUT's 25 Anniversary, Academic Standards, Political Action, New Teacher Recruitment, profiles of the Teacher of the Year, School Related Professional of the Year and various legislative and political issues. On May 3, 2003, GCG produced the staging and technical aspects of the March for Public Education which attracted over 40,000 people. GCG has served NYSUT since 1995.
